Bobsled Mittens
One of many patterns by many designers in Judy Becker’s book “Beyond Toes, Knitting Adventures with Judy’s Magic Cast On.” Your local yarn shop can stock it through Unicorn books, or you may purchase from Amazon.com. Thistle & Forest Plaid Socks
Two sizes, women’s medium and men’s medium. Toe up construction with eye of partridge stitch on toe and heel, and vertical stranding mixed with a bit of fair isle for the twill plaid effect. Tutorials are in the pattern. $4.00.

Frames the face so nicely. Uses a light worsted weight yarn. $4.00
Lyra’s Hat
Made from super-super bulky yarn. You can make your own by holding yarns together, as per instructions. You can knit it in an hour. This is the same pattern City Knitting used to offer in a kit. $2.00.
Lola Cloche & Beanie
Modular knitting pattern. This is the companion hat for the Sassafras Mittens. Sizes child, adult medium and adult large. $5.00.
Sassafras Mittens
Modular knitting. Uses long tail cast on, knitting in the round, picking up stitches. Gauge 16 sts/4″. Two sizes, women’s small/child large and women’s medium/large. $5.00.
Pattern Correction: Your version number is found at pattern’s end. Version 101309.2 here is correct. For version 071009.1, please make the following correction. Under cuff section, replace your round three with this Round 3: *k1, lrinc, k to 1 st before marker, llinc, k1; repeat from * once more to end of round [4 sts increased]
Felted Loafer Slippers
Knitted with two strands of chunky yarn held together. Requires a 47″- 60″ long US17 circular needle. Employs Judy’s Magic Cast On and magic loop knitting in the round. All this so you can make them without seams. 5 sizes large child - XXL adult. $6.00.
Holey Squares Scarf
City Knitting’s “signature” pattern. Written for yarn weights from fingering to bulky. Requires long tail cast on and knitting in the round. $5.00.
In the Dark
Handwarmers for any weight yarn custom-fit to any size hand. No left nor right, so you can put them on “in the dark”. Two versions included in the pattern: easy peasy version & crafty seamless version. Knit in the round. $2.50.
